ABOUT
Amanda is a published author who has been writing witty
poems and articles for over 30 years to amuse friends
and family and, eventually, a wider audience. Educated
in England, she holds an honors degree in German with
a minor in English Literature from the University of
Bristol. In her sophomore year she was the undercover
gossip columnist for the official university publication.
Amanda represented the university in the prestigious
Observer Mace national debating competition where she
was required to think on her feet and present arguments
with little or no preparation while matching wits with
future journalists, lawyers and politicians. She is
an award-winning short story writer and frequent contributor
to "In the Powder Room", a website written
by, and for, women.
